KATHMANDU, MAY 2
The government will administer vaccines on May 14 to children under five who missed the recent national immunization drive.
According to Dr Abhiyan Gautam, Head of the Child Health and Immunization Section at the Ministry of Health and Population, nine essential vaccines will be given to children who were left out.
Dr Gautam said that around 95 percent of children in the age group are already fully vaccinated, and efforts are underway to reach the remaining five percent.
The Ministry has urged parents to take unvaccinated children to the nearest health facility to ensure they receive all required immunizations.
