KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 13
The draft statute of the CPN (Maoist Centre) is currently under discussion in 20 groups at the inaugural statute convention of the Party, taking place in the capital.
General Secretary Dev Prasad Gurung announced that each group, consisting of 50 to 55 members, is engaged in separate deliberations on the draft statute.
He mentioned that the conclusions drawn by these groups will be presented during the plenary session scheduled for tomorrow.
The finalization of the statute will be contingent upon the feedback received from all 20 groups.
Over 1,200 delegates, inclusive of central members, alternate central members, three central commission members, officials from seven provinces, and representatives from sister organizations, are actively participating in the conference.
