KATHMANDU, APRIL 15
A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Jajarkot district last night. The quake, with its epicenter at Paink in Kushe Rural Municipality, occurred at 9:31 pm on Monday, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
Details on any damage are awaited. This follows two earlier quakes of magnitudes 5.2 and 5.5 in the same area on April 3, which caused some house damages.
Jajarkot is not the only affected region; Darchula and Humla districts also experienced tremors in March and April.
