RAUTAHAT: Police have arrested six persons for printing fake Nepali notes from the different places of Rautahat district on Thursday.

The arrestees have been identified as Narayan Chaudhary of Sakhuwa in Dhamura-6, Ram Prabesh Yadav  of Gaur Municipality-9, Jugal Kishor Mahto of Gaur Municipality-7 and Osi Muhammad of Baluwa Tol in Chandrapur Municipaity-15, Manoj Mahato from Rupaitha of Dhanusha and Abhay Kumar Sah from East Champaran of India.

Osi Muhammad, the leader of the team, who was arrested on Saturday, had revealed other names of the group.

On the basis of information, police had found a printer and fake banknotes of Rs 49,500 face value buried in a briefcase under the ladder of a house of Parshuram chaudhary, father of Narayan Chaudhry.

The team led by Inspector Ram Prakash Chaudhary of Rautahat District Police Office had arrested the wrongdoers.
