KATHMANDU: Hospital for Advanced Medicine & Surgery (HAMS) in Dhumbarahi has officially announced the commencement of air ambulance services, on Monday.

After acquiring permission from Aerodrome Safety Department under Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), Air Dynasty helicopter conducted a successful test flight on a newly constructed rooftop helipad, the hospital said in a statement today.

The event was jointly inaugurated by Uddhav Kharel, Mayor of Budhanilakantha Municipality, Dr Bhagwan Koirala, Dr Arjun Karki, Dr Bhaskar Raj Panta and Ram Saran Bhandari.
