Cost of PCR test reduced to Rs 1000 in government laboratories
KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 11
The ICS (Incident Command System) meeting conducted by the Health Emergency Operation Centre of Ministry of Health and Population, on February 10, has concluded that only government hospitals can treat Covid-19 patients from now on.
Medical colleges that had also been providing the same service have been excluded from the list of facilities to provide the Covid-19 treatment, hereafter.
Meanwhile, MoHP also notified that the fee for PCR testing has come down to Rs 1,000 per test in government-based laboratories.
The cost for PCR test was reduced to Rs 2,000 from Rs 4,400, previously.
