DOLPA: The flow of scabies patients has increased at Tripurakot Health Post in Dolpa district in the recent days.

The health post said that more patients have thronged for the scabies treatment for the past one week. Nearly 10 to 15 patients visit the health post on a daily basis.

With the rise in the patients’ number, even the health posts and private clinics too have faced the crisis of medicines, Assistant Health Worker in the Tripurakot Health Post Kabi Prasad Upadhyay said.

He said that a request has been made to the District Health Office for the supply of medicines after the shortage of medicines needed for scabies treatment.
