KATHMANDU: Minister of Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa on Friday assured the parents of Nirmala Panta of prompt justice.

Talking to Yagya Raj Panta and Durga Devi Panta at his office in Singha Durbar, Thapa claimed that the government was inching closer to real culprits of Nirmala’s rape and murder.

“The government is probing the crime from various angles and layers. We will bring to book the perpetrators and initiate stern action against officials who previously blotched up the probe,” he said.
