CHITWAN: A police team from District Police Office, Chitwan, has arrested three persons with a huge amount of hooch from different places of the district on Saturday.

Police seized 4,600 litres of the home-made liquor and raw materials. The police team took the illegal liquor from Krishnapur, Bhojang, Barghare, Pokhara Bus Park, Aapatari, Beltendi, Kamalnagar and Newroad among other places of the district.

Police said the seized liquor and the arrested have been handed over to Inland Revenue Office, Bharatpur, for further investigation.
