Poll preparations underway, says Energy Minister
KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 22
Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kulman Ghising has reiterated that the House of Representatives (HoR) elections will be held as scheduled, as announced on March 5, 2025.
Speaking at the inauguration of the first district meeting and office of the Ujyalo Nepal Party in Manthali on Sunday, Ghising said preparations for the elections are progressing.
He said the Ujyalo Nepal campaign, launched a month ago to connect with Nepalis at home and abroad, has now evolved into a political party gaining wider recognition.
Ghising also remarked that after being entrusted with responsibilities in the government formed following the Gen-Z movement, he has approached his role differently from past ministers.
