KATHMANDU, JUNE 2

The parliamentary party of the CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to continue obstructing parliamentary proceedings until Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak resigns over the visit visa scandal.

The decision was made at a meeting held at the party's parliamentary office in Singha Durbar today, according to Deputy General Secretary Barshaman Pun. He also informed the media that opposition parties will convene ahead of tomorrow's parliamentary session.

Pun stated that today's meeting concluded that a thorough investigation is necessary, as it is evident that irregularities occurred in the visit visa process. "We are not declaring the Home Minister guilty yet, but the party believes he should resign to allow for an impartial investigation," he said.
