DHANGADI: Dhangadi sub-metropolis has introduced a programme to honour those house owners who demolish illegal structures they built on road sides on their own.

The programme was introduced to make the road expansion drive effective. Mayor Nripa Bahadur Odd of the sub-metropolis said the scheme would be implemented from the beginning of the new fiscal.

Odd said road expansion was going on smoothly, but house owners refused to demolish  infrastructures built along the Mohana-Attariya-Godavari road section.
