Husband jumps into Seti River after dispute with wife
POKHARA: A 45-year-old man went missing after jumping into the Seti River in Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City on Tuesday, following a dispute with his wife.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Khadga Bahadur Khatri at the Kaski District Police Office, Prakash Sapkota of Jhapa was reported missing in the river. The missing person is said to be a drunkard.
After the dispute, Sapkota took his daughter along with him under a pretext of taking a bath and suddenly jumped into the river upon reaching the riverbank.
The daughter then started to shout and seek help, said police. The police are searching for the missing person, added DSP Khatri.
