LAMJUNG: The 25-megatwatt Dordi-A Hydro Project has achieved tunnel breakthrough in Lamjung.

The project located at Dordi Rural Municipality Ward Nos 6 and 7 had started construction of the tunnel four years ago. Owner RajendraWasti of Liberty Energy Hydro Power Limited, the promoter company, said construction of 2,623-metre tunnel was completed.

LEHPL Managing Director AtmaramGhimire said 80 per cent work on the project was completed.

“We are planning to complete the physical works by next March”, Ghimire said.
