KHOTANG: Teaching learning activities have been affected due to mass hysteria among students at Champadevi High School of Bijayakharka in Khotang. School sources said nine girls fell unconscious on Sunday and one boy on Monday. Head teacher Govinda Pokhrel said, “Quivering, crying, shouting and fainting were symptoms seen among students.” He added that students were asked to take rest for two days. “However, another student showed similar symptoms on Monday,” he said.
