ILAM: A man succumbed to his injuries after falling off a tree at Siddhithumka of Ilam on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Gopi Krishna Khanal (35) of Siddhithumka-7, informed police.

Khanal had climbed up the tree to collect fodders and fell down. He sustained multiple joint fractures in the incident, police added.

Injured Khanal was being taken to Birtamod for treatment when he breathed his last, said Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar Yadav of the Ilam District Police Office.
