‘Implement pact reached with Dr KC’
KATHMANDU: The main opposition party threatened to put ‘pressure from all quarters’ if the government did not implement the agreement reached with fasting Dr Govinda KC.
The party criticised the government for exhibiting insensitivity as the medical education sector reformist’s 16th hunger strike entered eighth day on Wednesday.
According to the party, it is disappointing that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who took the initiative to sign the agreement with Dr Govinda KC, is dishonouring the agreement. “This shows the prime minister’s double standards,” said NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma.
