Incumbent administration most corrupt, says Yadav
Biratnagar, March 9
Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal leader Upendra Yadav today accused the incumbent KP Oli-led government of being the most corrupt in history.
Speaking at his party’s programme in Biratnagar, Yadav alleged that the government was ruled by black-marketeers, smugglers and the mafia.
“The economy of the country is in the hands of the mafia and black-marketeers. They are ruining the economy and country,” Yadav charged.
Yadav said that donor agencies and foreign countries had started cutting the aid amount due to the corrupt character of the government. “The corruption in the government is marring the country’s image in the international arena,” Yadav alleged.
In another context, Yadav said that their agitation was not over. “The Tarai agitation is not over. We have just changed its form for the time being,” Yadav added.
Yadav accused the government of not responding to their six-month long agitation.
“Our agitation will continue until the discriminatory policies are scrapped,” Yadav said. He informed that they would kick off their agitation in a few days after completing preparations.
