India nabs eight Nepalis

Nawalparasi, May 13:

Special Security Bureau (SSB) of India has arrested eight Nepalis including two security personnel on Tuesday night and has registered a case of poaching against them.

The arrested include Assistant Sub-inspector Tika Ram Mahato of Tribeni Susta police station of Nawalparasi district and police head constable Purna Bahadur GC along with Krishna Lal Gurung, Bijaya Thapa, Raju Gurung of Rupandehi and Gopal Gurung, Shahad Khatim and Paras Khatim of Susta, Nawalparasi.

They were arrested while hunting in the Indian forest. The SSB team recovered two 0.303, 100 rounds of bullets, one Nil Gai and a tractor with Indian registration number. District Police Office, Nawalparasi, has confirmed the arrest.
