Indian aid for school
Kathmandu, April 19:
The Embassy of India provided a grant assistance of Rs 3.3 million for the construction of a new school building of Kankai Secondary School at Simraungadh, Bara, today.
A press release issued by the embassy stated that Indian envoy Shiv Shankar Mukherjee laid the foundation stone for the new school building. Mukherjee underlined the importance of strengthening human resource development for Nepal’s overall progress.
He also said that the India-Nepal cooperation programmes are reflective of the strength between the two nations, the release stated. This educational project is the first undertaken by the government of India in Bara district, the release said.
