Indian man missing in Rautahat river

RAUTAHAT: An Indian national went missing after he was swept away by the Lal Bakaiya River in Rautahat district on Wednesday.

The missing man has been identified as Majbullah (50) from Dhaka, Motihari in Bihar of India. His full identity, however, is yet to be ascertained.

He was reportedly swept away by the flooded river while he was taking his buffalo across the river.

Led by Police Inspector Birendra Paswan, a joint police team from the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force has been dispatched to search the missing Indian man.
