KATHMANDU, MAY 10
The Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) Everest Massif Expedition 2021 team has successfully scaled the 7,161-metre Mt. Pumori peak today at 2:30 pm.
According to Pasang Sherpa, Managing Director at Peak Promotion Pvt Ltd, the IMF team became the first Indian group to successfully stand atop Mt. Pumori.
Everest Massif Expedition 2021, is unique two-month long expedition conducted by the IMF where its members are scheduled to scale four peaks – Mount Nuptse (7,861 metres), Mount Pumori (7,161 metres) and Mount Lhotse (8,516 metres) and Mount Everest (8,848 metres) in Nepal
Expedition is sponsored by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and handled by Peak Promotion Pvt. Ltd., Nepal.

Furthermore, two more climbers are scheduled to scale Mt Pumori tomorrow morning.
