MAHOTTARI: An Indian national was found dead hanging from a tree in Damhimadai VDC of Mahottari district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Ramsnehi Sada (55) of Sirsiya of Sitamarhi district of Bihar state. Sada was found hanging from the tree at a roadside in Rani Ratawara of Damhimadai VDC–9, informed SP Janak Bhattarai.

Police said Sada had arrived few days earlier to stay at his brother-in-law Bijo Sada's house. He had left the in-law's house to head back to India; but was found hanging from the tree, according to Bijo Sada.

The body has been sent to the Jaleshwor-based District Hospital for autopsy.

The police have started necessary investigation into the death of Indian national.
