POKHARA: An Indian youth has been arrested in possession of a pistol, apparently made in the US, from Sisuwa of Lekhanath Municipality in Kaski district on Wednesday.

Police had found the lethal weapon while searching 24-year-old Khusirit Ahmed's rented room in Lekhanath, near Pokhara, today.

After the discovery of the pistol, police are carrying out investigation with a suspicion that Ahmed could be a member of criminal gang, according to the spokesperson at the Kaski District Police, DSP Gaju Siddhi Bajracharya.
