KATHMANDU: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Vijay Jolly of India has said that the relations between India and Nepal were deepening as of late.

"Indo-Nepal relations would move ahead on the basis of mutual understanding and trust in the days ahead," he said.

Speaking at Reporters' Club in Kathmandu on Monday, BJP leader Jolly said elections were inevitable for consolidation of democracy.

He further said the political parties need to forge consensus for the same.
