TAPLEJUNG: An infant is found buried in the potato farm after being cut into pieces in Taplejung district on Tuesday morning.

The District Police Office, Taplejung, said that the baby was found buried in the potato farm that belonged to Bal Bahadur Limbu of Taplejung Municipality-6.

The pieces of the baby were collected and sent to the district hospital for autopsy, it is said.

Limbu had informed the police after discovering the baby while digging the farm.

Police said that investigation onto the incident is underway.
