NUWAKOT: Police gunned down Ganesh Lama of Semjong VDC-4 Dhading last night while trying to break out of the Rasuwa Prison. Subas Tamang of Naubise VDC-7 who was injured in the incident is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital, Kathmandu. Meanwhile, Amar Gurung of Lekhanath municipality-1 had managed escape from the prison.

According to Rabiraj Kafle, Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, the trio had broken the rods of the jail at around 11:30 pm to flee from there.
