Interim constitution draws INJSC flak

Kathmandu: The Indigenous Nationalities Joint Struggle Committee (INJSC) Nepal flayed the interim constitution. It said the retention of cow as the national animal and crimson as the national colour has mocked the House of Representatives’ decision to declare Nepal a secular state.

“The government should not work to make Nepal a Hindu state through constitutional provisions,” Indra Bahadur Gurung of the INJSC Nepal told a press meet here on Thursday.
