DHADING: Every year, the District Development Committee and the Road Division Office used to spend millions of rupees for the maintenance of roads.

But the renovation works only obstruct vehicular movement for some weeks as the road returns to the same condition later.

The roads in the district are in poor condition as the authorities dig the roads and leave them without upgrading.

According to bus entrepreneurs, the distance which otherwise could be passed in few hours may take whole days in the rainy season thanks to poor roads.

Local Netra Prasad Nepal of Dhuwakot informed that though millions of money is invested every year in the name of maintenance, condition of Dhading Besi- Salyantaru-Arughat- Gorkha , Dhading Besi- Kintangphedi and Sangkosh- Kintangphedi road section is always same.

The roads, which are muddy in rain and dusty in sunny days, have troubled people who reside nearby the roads.

Passengers also experience trouble to reach their destinations, while the bus drivers wonder about safety of passengers while driving.

Further, the passengers are forced to pay high fare as there is no any provision regarding the payment.

After the obstruction of vehicles, daily consumables go scarce in the villages as well as locally produced vegetables and diary items do not get market.
