JHAPA: The Suryodaya Anath Ashram on Saturday distributed jackets to the poor children in Rajgadh VDC of Jhapa district.

The organisation distributed a total of 300 jackets to children below 15 in all nine wards of the VDC with support from an Australian organisation named Sunrise Children’s Association Incorporated, according to programme coordinator of the Anath Ashram, Sita Siwakoti.

The children of indigenous, Muslim and marginalised communities were given the jackets by visiting their doorsteps.
