JAJARKOT: A man died and another was injured when a tractor met with an accident at Damda Chok of Dhime VDC in Jajarkot district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Hari Bahadur Pun (25), a local resident, informed DSP Bhabesh Rimal of the Jajarkot District Police Office.

Pun was a helper of the driver Lal Bahadur Chandara in the tractor (Be 1 Ta 5707).

The vehicle was ferrying foods for Gharanga Centre in Dhime when it met with the accident at around 11 am today.

Chandara, who got injured in the incident, is in critical condition.

Pun and Chandara are being taken to the District Hospital for postmortem and treatment respectively.
