KATHMANDU: A nine-year-old boy died after being knocked down by a jeep at Bishal Chok in Urlabari Municipality-1 of Morang district on Tuesday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Manish Sarki, son of local Yam Bahadur Sarki.

The jeep (Me 1 Ja 2247) hit Manish killing him on the spot, at around 6 pm yesterday.

Meanwhile, Urlabari-based Area Police Office has impounded the four-wheeler and arrested its driver for further investigation.
