Jewellers to shut shops in valley today

Kathmandu December 30:

Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association said today that gold and silver shops in the valley will be closed tomorrow to protest the murder of a jeweller.

Saptaraj Shakya, a jewellery shop owner at Bhisensthan in Kathmandu, was murdered on Friday evening.

The NEGOSITA said in a press release that jewellers will close down all the shops in the Kathmandu valley to pile pressure on law enforcement agencies to bring the culprits to justice.
