JHAPA: A person died in a road accident that at Ittabhatta Chok of Mechinagar Municipality last night.

The deceased has been identified as Yam Khawas (37) of Mechinagar-10. The accident took place when the bicycle that Khawas was riding on was hit by a motorcycle (Ko. 5 Pa. 3366), according to the District Police Office, Jhapa.

Seriously injured Khawas died in course of treatment, DSP at the Area Police Office Khadga Bahadur Khatri said.
