DAMAK: A man was electrocuted while fishing in Krishnay Khola of Baigundhura VDC in Jhapa district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Milan Hasda (22) of Gauradaha Municipality.

Hasda had received the electric shock from a wire fixed to kill fish in the stream.

The critically injured Hasda had breathed his last on the way to Lifeline Hospital, Jhapa, informed the Area Police Office, Damak.

Investigation is underway, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajan Limbu.
