Joint patrol conducted along Nepal-India border in Nawalparasi
NAWALPARASI: The Armed Police Force (APF) of Nepal and Border Security Force (BSF) of India jointly carried out a patrol along the Indian border in Nawalparasi.
The patrol was conducted from pillar number 500 to 497, according to APF border outpost in Guthi Parsauni.
The APF team, comprising 13 personnel, was led by Tej Bahadur Budhathoki while DSP N Chongloi led the 10-member squad from the BSF.
Moreover, the security personnel from both sides discussed ways to resolve the problems of cross border smuggling and other security challenges in the border areas.
