POKHARA: Jomsom VDC of Mustang district has been declared fully immunised VDC on Tuesday.

The joint team of Chief District Officer Narahari Baral, Local Development Officer and Vaccine Coordination Committee Chairman Bal Dev Prasad Joshi and District Health Office Head Shambhu Prasad Gyawali had announced the village fully immunised at a programme.

According to the District Health Office’s Vaccine Officer Badri Acharya, the VDC was declared fully immunised, fourth in the district, after it was reported that all children of nine wards in the VDC were administered vaccines on right times.

Earlier, Kunjo, Marpha and Tukuche were already declared fully immunised VDCs.

It is learned that they are working rapidly with a vision of declaring the district fully immunised in November.
