RAJBIRAJ: Jantantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM), an armed outfit agitating in Tarai, which held talks with the government, announced a phase wise agitation programme putting forward a 6-point demand.

Speaking at a press conference in Rajbiraj, Siraha Rajiv Jha 'Utkarsha Mukti' announced the agitation including a mass protest meeting and a three day Tarai bandh and walkout from the talks if the government is not serious about its demands.

Utkarsha Mukti demanded the immediate implementation of the past agreements reached between the government and the party, allowance to its cadres, release of the arrested cadres and high-level probe into the killing of Dhanusha district in-charge Abinash Mukti. He also demanded a stop to the government atrocities and reinstatement of Vice President Parmananda Jha.
