Jumla collects around Rs 66 million in revenue
JUMLA: The Taxpayers' Service Office, Jumla, has collected amount over Rs 65.9 million in revenue in the last fiscal year.
Acting Chief of the Office Kamalesh Kumar Yadav said that contribution of the income tax with Rs 22 million is the highest in the revenue collection.
Likewise, a total of Rs 12.48 million was collected under the title of the social security tax based on wages, according to Yadav.
Similarly, around Rs 11 million was received from the Value Added Tax (VAT) while Rs 3.05 million was contributed from the tax on rental.
Although, the total revenue collection is slightly less than the target, it exceeds previous fiscal year's collection by 15.77 per cent.
