Kaski police unveils work plan

Kaski Police today unveiled a 15-point work plan with the aim of curbing criminal activities in the district.
Speaking at a press meet here today, newly appointed Kaski Police Chief SP Ashok Singh said the work plan prioritised measures to curb drug smuggling and hooliganism, black-marketing and controlling illegal trading of alcohol, among other criminal activities. The plan also includes various measures that ensure law and order in the district.
Campaigns against social evils, campaign against violence against women, promotion of human rights, ensuring security with the onset of the festive season etc have been incorporated in the plan. The work-plan also includes technology-friendly police service, effective investigation of crimes, stern action against perpetrators, tourism security in tourism hubs, and coordination with different organisations for maintaining peace and security.
Meanwhile, Kaski Police today made public six persons held on the charge of theft in Machhapuchchhre Rural Municipality of the district.
