KATHMANDU: President Bidya Bhandari on Tuesday appointed Tej Bahadur KC and Purushottam Bhandari the Justices in the Supreme Court of Nepal.* KC and Bhandari Chief Judges of the High Courts in Biratnagar and Pokhara respectively.

Chief Justice Sushila Karki administered the oath of office and secrecy to them in presence of President Bhandari and Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun at the Sheetal Niwas today itself.

According to the Office of the President, the duo were appointed in the Supreme Court as per the Article 129 (2) on the recommendation of Judicial Council.

They were appointed after the Parliamentary Hearing Committee cleared their names yesterday.
