BUTWAL: A blazing fire wrecked havoc in several districts including Palpa, Rupandehi, Chitwan and Dhankuta on Saturday.

Properties of extensive value were devastated in the blaze that broke out yesterday in Udayapur and Dhankuta. In Dhankuta two lives were lost.

The damage also extended to 100 hectares of forest in Panchami, Aap Khahare and Thanpokhari community forest in 1 and 5 of Beltar in Udaypur.

The Nepal Police, Armed Police force and locals were still struggling to tame the raging fire.
