Kin of Tara aircraft crash victims mourn deceased
Pokhara, February 24
Family members and relatives of people killed in the crash of Tara Air’s aircraft at Solighopte cliff of Dana VDC in Myagdi are mourning the loss of their near and dear ones in Pokhara and Jomsom airports.
The relatives of the deceased, who gathered at Pokhara airport after the plane went missing have been overwhelmed with the loss of their dear ones. They are waiting for the bodies.
Tubraj Bastola, who came to find out about his elder brother, broke down on hearing about the death of his brother Muktinath, who was killed in the crash. He was working as VDC Secretary at Muktinath VDC in Mustang.
Amrit Lalchan, who lost his distant maternal uncle Laxmi Prasad Hirachan, has been experiencing a painful time.
Lalchan bemoaned that he could not believe the news till now. Laxmi’s death in the crash has left his family members in mourning.
Neighbours and friends are having a hard time consoling Shanta Pariyar who lost her father Kanchha Pariyar in the incident. Relatives of the passengers of the ill-fated aircraft were seen at the airport throughout the day.
Amrit complained that lack of right information and conflicting media reports had put him in great mental tension.
