DAMAK: The cadres of Kirant Janabadi Workers’ Party detonated two pressure cooker bombs at two places in Jhapa district on Thursday morning.

A bomb was detonated at new buspark in Sanischare while another went off in front of Ghanendra Banstola’s house in Arjundhara, according to the police, Birtamod. The explosions caused minor damage. “The identify of those involved in the explosion has not been ascertained,” said Abhi Chandra Rijal, inspector, Area Police Office, Birtamod. Meanwhile, Kirant Janabadi Workers’ Party (KJWP) has owned up to both the explosions.
