Kathmandu, March 22

CPN-UML lawmaker Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel has been appointed chair of the rule drafting committee of the House of Representatives.

Pokhrel was also a member of the rule drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly. Pokhrel said the committee would draft rules for the management of all activities of the House of Representatives. He said the committee would make the government accountable to the HoR and prepare code of ethics for lawmakers.

The committee will recommend the number and names of committees under the HoR and procedure for holding their meetings.
