Nepali man held in Kuwait with heroin, crystal meth

KATHMANDU: A Nepali national has been arrested in possession of narcotics in Kuwait, according to local media reports.

Referring to Al-Anba daily, Arab Times daily reported on Sunday that Kuwait's Drug Control General Department arrested the 27-year-old Nepali and seized 100 gram of heroin and 10 of crystal meth from his possession.

Two other South Asian men -- an Indian and a Sri Lankan -- were also arrested for drug peddling.

The suspects have been referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action, the report said.
