Lamjung's Ghalegaun issues Code of Conduct for visiting guests

BESISAHAR: The Ghalegaun Tourism Development Committee has introduced a 12-point code of conducts for tourists visiting a model village in Lamjung district.

As per the new guideline tourists visiting the site have to register their information at the local committee. The tourists would use the locally produced products during their stay in the area, RSS reported.

The committee also strongly prohibits child abuse, child and woman trafficking, sexual molestation and drug abuse during their visit to the majestic village bosom in the Annapurna Mountain range.

The tourists are also not allowed to indulge into activities that would tarnish the image of the community, local art, tradition and ecology RSS reported.
