RAJBIRAJ, FEBRUARY 19

Lawmakers elected to the federal Parliament and Provincial Assembly from the Janamat Party in Saptari have visited their respective constituencies seeking plans for development of their areas.

Lawmakers CK Raut elected to the House of Representative from Saptari-2, Satis Kumar Singh from Saptari-2A and Mahesh Prasad Yadav from Saptari-2B have reached the voters of their concerned areas.

Raut started the programme from his area yesterday. Singh and Yadav started the same programme in their respective areas from today.

Speaking at a programme in Rajbiraj today, Yadav, also the education minister of Madhes Province, said the programme was organised to collect the development plans of locals.

He said that the plans would be discussed among people and implemented on the basis of priority. Yadav added that people could not feel change due to nepotism and favouritism.

"The programme has been organised with the aim of providing maximum benefits to people during our tenure," he said, adding that budget would be allocated for the plans proposed by people, not the leaders.
