Lalitpur, January 27:

Employees of Local Development Fund (LDF) under District Development Committee (DDC) from 66 districts have stressed the need to recognise all LDF employees as the permanent employees of the DDC at a national-level-meeting held here today.

“The third amendment of the Local Governance Act in 2006 has made a provision to recruit employees through examination. As the employees of the LDF were recruited as per the pattern of the Public Service Commission’s examination, they should be made permanent automatically,” said Bisheswore Koirala, member of the national-level meeting and employee of LDF, Lalitpur.
