TANAHUN: Public Campus Organisation organised a rally in Damauli bazaar on Wednesday to protest the severe attack on Baikuntha Neupane, central president of Public Campus Organisation and chief of Bhanubhakta Multiple Campus yesterday morning.

Lecturers, rights activists, media persons and civil society had participated in the rally that went through different thoroughfares of the bazaar and converged into a corner meet in Anasan Chowk.

Chairman of Nepal Bar Association Tanahun chapter Bishwo Bastola, rights activist Ramnath Bhattarai, senior journalist Bishwobandhu Bhandary among others addressing the corner meet, condemned the incident and demanded strong action against the culprits.

A man donning mask had suddenly attacked Neupane with a bamboo stick while he was heading for campus on Tuesday morning.
